Birdgram serves as a portable audio field guide, offering a comprehensive collection of 770 species and over 45,000 recordings across all 50 states in the US. This extensive database is made available through the remarkable resources of xeno-canto.org, a platform committed to open access and data sharing through Creative Commons licensing.

Key Features:
<ul>
 <li>Access a wide range of approximately 50 to 200 recordings for each species, surpassing other similar applications.</li>
 <li>Record bird calls using your mobile device and conduct a search to identify the species. The app will present xeno-canto recordings akin to your own, aiding in species identification.</li>
 <li>Visualize every sound within the app as a spectrogram, offering an intuitive representation of the sound's structure over time.</li>
 <li>Utilize the "Places" feature to designate your current location or a specific birding site as a filter, focusing results on the birds in your proximity and excluding distant species, facilitating local bird discovery.</li>
 <li>Enjoy offline functionality - Birdgram operates fully offline, ensuring uninterrupted usage even in remote locations without network coverage. (Note: Internet connection is required for adding new places; all other features are available offline.)</li>
